My love for baking blossomed during my college years, inspired by a close family friend who worked as a baker at a charming panadería in Orlando. She would often visit our home, generously sharing her skills in cake-making and decoration. At the time, I baked solely for friends and family, crafting sweet creations for special occasions and gatherings.

As I pursued my bachelor's degree, life led me away from baking. I explored various roles in the corporate world, believing I had found the foundation of a lifelong career (I was so wrong!). However, fate had other plans. In December 2024, just two weeks before Christmas, I faced an unexpected layoff—a turning point that reignited my passion for baking.

Determined to channel my creativity, I launched my own company, devoted to crafting luxurious pastries. My vision was clear: to create indulgent, elegant treats that spark joy and leave lasting memories. I began with cookies, pastries, and small cakes, experimenting with recipes that ranged from delightful successes to valuable lessons.

Today, Sugar Noir is a beloved part of my community, embodying a passion for exceptional baking and heartfelt connections. As we continue to grow, I look forward to sharing our decadent creations with your community and venturing into even more delightful corners of the baking world.
